There’s something incredibly timeless about a winter wedding in Halifax, especially when it’s filled with meaningful traditions, family, and celebration. This beautiful Lebanese wedding day began with a heartfelt ceremony at Saint Antonios Antiochian Orthodox Church, where family and friends gathered to witness such an emotional and sacred moment. The stunning church details created the perfect setting for a beautiful ceremony in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Halifax Brewery Farmers’ Market for portraits, embracing the beauty of downtown Halifax in the winter. Between the historic architecture and soft light every part of the session felt classic and cinematic. Winter weddings in Halifax have such a unique charm, and this day was the perfect reminder that colder months can create some of the most beautiful wedding imagery.

The celebration continued at Au Liban with an unforgettable reception full of incredible food, music, and nonstop dancing. One of my favourite parts of photographing multicultural weddings in Nova Scotia is getting to document traditions and moments that are so deeply important to each family. The energy throughout the evening was absolutely contagious, with guests filling the dance floor and celebrating together late into the night. It was such a beautiful reminder of how joyful and vibrant winter weddings in Halifax can truly be.
